Junket is a for-life mentoring community supporting young adults and their families after foster care in New York City.
Junket helps its young adult members build stable, future-oriented lives by offering connection and proactive support in areas such as career guidance, real-world readiness, smart money skills, family support and, most importantly, a community where they will always be welcome. Practically, this includes:
- Providing ongoing mentorship and a support network
- Connecting members with computers for GED and professional training
- Navigating the housing and health care systems in NYC
- Helping file taxes and providing financial literacy training
- Planning community events for connection and volunteer opportunities
It's more than a program; it’s a lifelong investment in belonging, growth and lasting impactful change for generations to come.
