Each year, between 15,000 and 20,000 young people age out of foster care in the United States, about 800 in New York City alone. Most are just 18 to 21 years old, over 50% reporting they have zero reliable adults to turn to and less than 25% receive any independent living preparation.
We work less like a program, more like a family. Through individualized support, we help members build stable, future-oriented lives through consistent connection and proactive support in areas such as career guidance, real-world readiness, smart money skills and personal and family well-being.
